Meet the Holywell Staff
Eamonn Deane
A Teacher who moved into full time community work in 1973 and since then has been involved in many initiatives. A founder member of CFNI (formerly NIVT) and of several ground breaking community organisations at both a local and regional level. Eamonn has written extensively on community development and was the first recipient of Community Relations Council Lifetime Acheviement Award in April 2006. Married to Sally they have four children and two grand children. Holywell Trust will celebrate its twentieth year in 2008 – another land mark in Eamonn’s lifetime of commitment and concern.
Carol Wright
Carol has worked in the field of administration since 1978. She has extensive experience of working with the Western Education and Library Board school administration system in her role as Senior Clerical Officer in Templemore Secondary School.
Carol has specific expertise in:
- - Co-ordination of overall management, organisation and implementation of office procedures.
- - Personnel issues and procedures.
- - Financial control.
Carol is active in the local community in a voluntary capacity and holds the position of Secretary/Treasurer of Belmont Cadet Division of St. John Ambulance Brigade.
Gemma Harkin
Gemma Harkin commenced working with Holywell Trust in March 2006. She has 25 years experience in the community & voluntary sector having worked with Habinteg Housing Association as the Senior Housing Officer for the NW setting up their local offices in Derry/Londonderry. Later she worked for Leonard Cheshire as their Regional Advisor for NI in housing with care, residential accommodation and domiciliary care services. Gemma was a Director with the City Partnership Board for seven years and was a Public Representative with the Board of The Health Promotion Agency for NI from 2003-2005. Gemma is a keen environmentalist with a passion for gardening including growing a wide variety of seasonal fruit & vegetables.
Lisa Clements
Lisa has worked in the field of Administration and Finance since 1990. She has extensive experience working in the private sector as an accounts assistant for 11 years, and for the past 6 years has been working with Holywell Trust as Financial Administrator.
Lisa has specific expertise in:
- - Co-ordination of overall management, organisation, and implementation of office procedures.
- - Personnel issues and procedures.
- - Financial control
Lisa is married to Rory and a proud mother of 2 children, Jamie and Clara. For the past 23 years Lisa has been singing with the Long Tower Folk Group, and the love of music filters throughout her life!
