Our Facilities

A new facility opened in 2014, based in the heart of Derry/Londonderry available for meetings and gatherings of 2 to 112 people.  We offer a welcoming, accessible, affordable and multi-functional space, fully accessible for all.

   
The Building has a built in loop system in all meeting spaces and a portable loop system.  There is state of the art AV equipment in all rooms, large TV’s for use with presentations, video conferencing etc.

A portable stage, 3m x 3m is available for conferences, performances, networking events and launch events.

The Junction Meeting Room

A multi functional space with a capacity of 112 Theatre style and can be set up in multiple configurations.

This space works well for Conferences / Community meetings / Testimony events Reconciliation events/ Training / Performances Mediation / Showcasing & Network events.

Cabaret Style: 80 people
Can be partitioned for 2 rooms with capacities of 45.

Cafe Space (soon to be transformed into The Tea Room)

When booking The Junction, the Café Bar area is also booked out and can be used as a breakout space as well as facilitating refreshments and lunches. A multi-functional space, The Café Bar area can be booked independently just contact the Centre Co-ordinator.

Ideal for exhibitions (hanging system available), launch events, networking, performances, crafts and hospitality for Garden of Reflection events.

Rose's Room

Rose’s Room is a very special space for small intimate meetings in a comfortable setting and a view of the Garden of Reflection.  Capacity 4 people max.

Room works best for one-to-one sessions and counselling. Can accommodate a maximum of 4 people.

Stephen Connelly Meeting Room

An adaptable meeting space that can accommodate up to 16 people. The Stephen Connelly Room is located on the first floor of the building. 

This space works well for meetings / training sessions etc.

Resource Library

The Resource Library is a small meeting room with a capacity of 4.  Both rooms can be used for one-to-one’s, counselling and reflective thinking. The space is home to a large number of community relations focused resources.

Barney Walsh & Bridget O'Toole Meeting Room

Another adaptable meeting space that can accommodate up to 16 people. This room is located on the second floor of the building.

Joe McQuaide Room

Our basement space is a multi-purpose room with a capacity of 60 people.  Self-contained with toilet and wheelchair accessible facilitated by lift.

This space can be used informally with comfortable sofa seating and for formal training events.

Desk Space

We have space available for other charities who would like to base their organisation in our building. Our offices are Grade A open plan spaces, already home to almost 20 community organisations. 

Groups based in our building get: 
  • Designated desk space
  • Reception services - phone answering and post handling
  • Access to meeting room booking system 
  • Use of shared phone and photocopying facilities (billed separately)
  • Opportunity to work in a shared office space with other like-minded organisations 
  • Access to networking events
